AUSTRALIAN MARKET DATA

Custom Folders

TXL Data includes a powerful feature called Custom Folders that allows you to maintain separate folders of stocks in order to make your trading analysis much easier. The securities contained within the Custom Folders are updated in parallel with your existing securities and are fully maintained.

To assist you in this process, TXL Data has a number of pre-generated and maintained lists of stock including:

  • Each of the index constituents of the S&P/ASX 20/50/100/200/300 indices, ASX All Ords and ASX Small ords.
  • All of the stocks within the 10 Sectors, 23 Industry Groups. This includes all stocks, not just those included in the S&P/GICS indices.
  • Stocks within the S&P/ASX 100 divided into sectors and Industry Groups.
  • Stocks within the S&P/ASX 200 divided into sectors and Industry Groups.
  • Current short-sellable ASX securities.
  • Stocks for which Warrants are traded
  • Stocks for which Exchange Traded Options are traded

These lists are exceptionally useful to traders that employ any of the following strategies:

  • Sector analysis (top down) strategies – i.e. looking for the strongest stocks in the strongest sectors, or the worst stocks in the poorest sectors.
  • Looking for short sell opportunities on the ASX
  • Analysing stocks heavily traded by managed funds (index constituents)
  • Creating your own lists of stocks (eg. creating a list of speculative gold mining stocks)

The complete list of ASX pre-generated custom folders is below:
