The TXL Data service is owned by Trading Excellence Pty Ltd and is based in Melbourne, Australia.  The TXL Data service offers an easy-to-use and affordable solution for the task of obtaining end-of-day prices for various financial instruments.  It is a software package that provides end of day data for exchanges around the world for stocks, futures and foreign exchange in MetaStock™ and ASCII format.  The software and data is easy to install and run, and historical data is loaded as part of the installation process.

Data updates are achieved via the Internet by a single click on the Update command.  TXL Data employs a number of back-up data servers in the event the primary data server is unavailable.  The TXL Data database is meticulously maintained with regular maintenance conducted automatically. 

The following actions are performed as part of database maintenance.

• Equity prices are adjusted for changes to a company's capital base.

• De-listed securities are moved from the main database into a "De-listed Securities" folder (from where you may delete them at your leisure).

• Securities that have undergone a name or code change are refreshed to reflect the new name or code.

• New securities that have been added to the database during the week are assigned their full names.

The database is held in Y2K compliant MetaStock™/Computrac format.  Nearly all well-known charting and analysis software packages will read this format including:
